#Lessons learned today...

It`s not helpful in the least bit to catastrophize. When faced with a situation that could be challenging, it`s best to go in with realistic expectations. It almost always won`t be nearly as tragic as the crazed inner workings of your amygdala make it out to be. All that time and energy spent worrying could easily be placed somewhere where it`d be more appreciated.

When asked to share your experience, strength, and/or hope, do not hesitate. It can be quite unpleasant, especially if you loathe public speaking, but could very well be the emotional freedom you so desire. Perhaps your words could even save someone`s life and isn`t that the ultimate goal of recovery...to save those still suffering?

On we grow...
